Kids Planet Preston

Kids Planet Preston is an outstanding early years setting that achieved the highest grade across all four areas of the legacy OFSTED framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management). This report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework, with all areas graded as Exceptional (95-100 score range). The setting demonstrates exceptional practice across safeguarding, curriculum design, child outcomes, behaviour management, welfare provision, and leadership. The nursery has maintained outstanding standards through the COVID-19 pandemic with minimal developmental gaps. With an overall score of 97, the setting represents best-practice provision and should focus on Priority 3 investments to sustain and further enhance already exceptional practice, particularly in emerging areas such as digital innovation and specialist SEND provision.
