Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Enfield received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in September 2022. This report predates the November 2025 framework; findings have been mapped to the seven-area structure as follows: Safeguarding (Met), Inclusion (Strong Standard, 82), Curriculum and Teaching (Strong Standard, 81), Achievement (Strong Standard, 82), Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines (Strong Standard, 83), Welfare/Well-being (Strong Standard, 84), Leadership/Governance (Strong Standard, 82). The nursery demonstrates strong foundational practice with warm relationships, effective staff deployment, good behaviour management, and effective SEND support. The single area for improvement identified by the inspector concerns differentiation for most-able children, specifically strengthening vocabulary retention and speaking skills development. Overall effectiveness maps to Strong Standard (82/100) across the new framework.
