Wise Owls at Farm View Day Nursery

Farm View Day Nursery was inspected on 4 May 2022 under the pre-November 2025 framework (4-area structure: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management). All four areas were graded 'Good', with Safeguarding rated as 'Effective'. This analysis maps the legacy findings to the November 2025 7-area framework. The nursery demonstrates solid foundations with strong emotional well-being support, broad curriculum delivery, and effective safeguarding culture. The inspector identified two key improvement areas: (1) curriculum implementation consistency across different age groups, and (2) strengthening information sharing with other settings for transitions. The newly appointed management team shows strong commitment to continuous improvement and staff well-being. Mapping to the new framework: Quality of Education translates to Curriculum and Teaching (Good/70), Behaviour and Attitudes remains strong (Good/72), Personal Development maps to Welfare and Well-being (Good/71), and Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good/72). Inclusion and Achievement are inferred as Good (70) based on evidence of diverse learners, EAL support, and positive progress noted throughout.
