Bright Little Stars Nursery received an Outstanding rating across all areas in its first routine inspection on 31 January 2022. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching; Behaviour and Attitudes remains aligned; Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance. The nursery demonstrates exceptional practice across all domains, with particular strengths in child-centred learning, staff expertise, safeguarding arrangements, and parent partnerships. All children, including those with SEND and funded early education recipients, make rapid and exceptional progress. Staff are highly skilled at using everyday interactions as learning opportunities and supporting children's emotional regulation and communication development. The setting maintains a warm, inviting environment where children feel secure and confident. As an Outstanding provider with no identified areas for improvement in the inspection report, recommendations focus on maintaining excellence and strategically investing in areas that could support progression toward Exceptional grades in the November 2025 framework, particularly in enhancing inclusion provision, deepening curriculum innovation, and supporting staff to achieve advanced qualifications.
