Kids Planet Davenport was rated Good overall at this June 2025 inspection, representing a decline from Outstanding at the previous inspection in October 2019. The report was conducted under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good, 75); Behaviour & Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good, 72); Personal Development maps to Achievement (Good, 75) and Welfare and Well-being (Good, 76); Leadership & Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good, 74). The nursery demonstrates significant strengths in curriculum design, staff relationships, reading promotion, and parent partnership, but has two explicit areas for improvement: inconsistent application of behaviour strategies and incomplete staff understanding of curriculum intent across all team members.
