Kido Clerkenwell

Kido Clerkenwell was inspected on 17 August 2023 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), with all areas graded Good and Safeguarding rated Effective. This analysis maps the legacy findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery demonstrates strong foundations across most areas: children are confident learners in a welcoming environment, behaviour is well-managed, and staff receive effective support from leadership. The setting maintains good partnerships with parents and implements a well-sequenced curriculum with strong focus on communication and language development. Two specific areas for improvement were identified: staff questioning techniques during activities to promote deeper thinking, and parent engagement regarding children's next steps in learning to support home learning. The nursery is maintaining its Good rating from the previous inspection in 2018, indicating stable provision with targeted opportunities for progression to Strong Standard.
