Millennium Minis Lakeside was inspected on 5 August 2025 and received an overall rating of Good across all areas. The setting operates under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good); Behaviour and Attitudes remains Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good); Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good); Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good). Safeguarding arrangements are effective and meet requirements. The nursery demonstrates strong child-centred practice, excellent transition support, positive relationships, and ambitious leadership with a clear focus on literacy and cultural diversity. The inspector identified one key area for improvement: inconsistent embedding of training learning across all staff, which occasionally limits the depth of children's knowledge and understanding during play.
