Cherubs Children's Centre Wynndale was inspected on 18 July 2022 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), with all areas graded as Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates strong safeguarding practices, good curriculum planning with ambitious physical education and community engagement, and effective support for children with SEND. Staff relationships with children are warm and secure, and parents are highly satisfied. The primary area for improvement identified by the inspector concerns pace and child agency: children are not consistently given sufficient time to fully explore, concentrate on, and enjoy activities according to their own interests and curiosity. This finding maps primarily to the Curriculum and Teaching area and suggests that while the curriculum is well-planned, implementation could better balance adult-led and child-initiated learning. The setting maintains a Good overall effectiveness rating with no safeguarding concerns.
