Jubilee Nursery

Jubilee Children's Centre Nursery was inspected on 2 February 2022 under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 7-area framework. The nursery has demonstrated significant improvement from Inadequate at the previous inspection (February 2020), now achieving Good across all areas. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with secure understanding of responsibilities, robust recruitment and supervision processes, and improved accident recording procedures. The setting excels in literacy engagement, SEND support, outdoor learning, and mathematical vocabulary development. Two specific areas for improvement were identified: strengthening children's independence skills at mealtimes (particularly pouring drinks and cutting food) and managing noise levels in the pre-school room to support listening and speaking skills. The nursery serves 73 children aged 1-4 with 16 staff members, 14 of whom hold level 3+ qualifications.
