Fennies Horley has improved significantly from 'Requires Improvement' at the previous inspection (August 2024) to 'Good' at this inspection (June 2025). The new on-site leadership team has demonstrated strong commitment to addressing previous weaknesses, with particular strengths in curriculum delivery, SEND support, communication and language development, and children's independence. The setting provides a happy, engaging environment where all children make good progress. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework. Two key areas for continued improvement have been identified: more precise curriculum planning to support individual children's learning progression, and strengthened staff supervision and practice monitoring to enhance staff effectiveness.
