The Tree House Club Forestry Nursery and out of school club

The Tree House Club Forestry Nursery was inspected on 18 August 2021 under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), with all areas graded as Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 7-area framework. The setting demonstrates effective safeguarding, strong outdoor learning experiences particularly through forest school activities, and good relationships between staff, children and families. Children are happy, confident and show good understanding of routines and safety. The report identifies two key areas for development: strengthening staff questioning techniques to allow children thinking time, and creating more structured opportunities for experienced staff to model and share good practice across the team. The setting is managing a period of staffing transition with newly appointed staff and interim leadership while a full-time manager is recruited.
