Cherubs South Normanton was inspected on 25 July 2023 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), with all areas graded Good and Safeguarding effective. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates strong practice across curriculum delivery, child welfare, and leadership, with particular strengths in language development, outdoor learning, and inclusive practice. The single area for development identified by the inspector concerns extending children's problem-solving skills during daily activities, particularly in mathematical contexts. Staff demonstrate warm, attentive practice and the setting maintains excellent parent partnerships and health/physical development provision.
