Rainbow Nursery

Rainbow Nursery demonstrates strong practice across most evaluation areas, with an overall effectiveness rating of Strong Standard. The setting excels in Curriculum and Teaching, Achievement, and Inclusion, all graded Strong Standard. Safeguarding standards are met, creating a safe culture where children thrive. However, two areas require focused improvement: Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines, and Children's Welfare and Well-being, both currently at Expected Standard. The inspectors identified inconsistent implementation of behavioural expectations across the staff team and transitions that sometimes interrupt children's engagement or cause unsettlement. Leadership and Governance is Strong Standard, with leaders demonstrating clear vision and commitment to improvement. This analysis uses the November 2025 framework; the original report employed the legacy structure but findings map directly to the new seven-area model.
