Little Me Day Nursery was inspected on 14 August 2024 and rated Good overall, representing significant improvement from the previous Requires Improvement rating (October 2023). The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure. All legacy areas were graded Good, translating to Expected Standard (60-79) across the new framework. Safeguarding arrangements are effective and meet requirements. The nursery has made substantial progress in curriculum planning, staff training, and environmental adaptation since the last inspection. Key strengths include warm staff interactions, effective settling-in processes, strong communication and language focus, good partnerships with parents, and clear behaviour expectations. Two specific areas require targeted improvement: staff need better support in encouraging less confident children to participate fully in group activities, and staff understanding of building on individual children's prior knowledge and readiness needs strengthening to avoid expecting children to perform tasks before they have developed prerequisite skills.
