St Andrew's Day Nursery

St. Andrews Day Nursery received an Outstanding rating across all areas in June 2024, representing significant improvement from the previous Good rating in 2019. This is a legacy report using the pre-November 2025 framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which has been mapped to the new 7-area structure. All four legacy areas were graded Outstanding, translating to exceptional performance across the new framework areas. The nursery demonstrates exemplary practice in SEND support, communication and language development, staff reflectivity, and environmental design. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with a positive culture prioritizing children's interests. The setting has progressed from Good to Outstanding through sustained focus on ambitious curriculum design, precise assessment, and continuous professional development.
