Linden Tree Nursery schools

Linden Tree Nursery School received an overall 'Good' rating across all areas in the March 2025 inspection. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded 'Good'. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good/72) and Achievement (Good/72); Behaviour and Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good/72); Personal Development maps to Inclusion (Good/72) and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good/72); Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good/72). Safeguarding is confirmed as 'Met' with an effective culture. The nursery demonstrates strong leadership, positive parent relationships, and a clear sequenced curriculum with emphasis on prime areas. Key strengths include skilled staff who build secure relationships, good progress tracking, and community engagement. Two specific improvement areas were identified: staff need to strengthen teaching strategies to extend children's curiosity and language development, and mathematical concepts beyond basic counting (measurement, weight, prediction) require greater focus for older children.
