Stratton Pre-School was inspected on 11 May 2023 under the legacy EYFS framework (4 areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. This analysis maps findings to the November 2025 framework (7 areas). The setting demonstrates strong practice across most areas, with particular strengths in staff-child relationships, assessment and planning, support for SEND, and safeguarding. The manager and team are reflective and responsive to improvement opportunities. Two specific areas for development were identified: enhancing self-evaluation to systematically include parent views, and promoting children's awareness of healthy lifestyle choices through daily routines. The setting maintains Good overall effectiveness with trajectory toward Strong Standard across most evaluation areas.
