Bright Stars Nursery was inspected on 11 February 2022 under the legacy EYFS framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery has improved significantly from 'Requires Improvement' at the previous inspection (November 2019), demonstrating strong leadership under a new manager with clear vision. Safeguarding is effective with robust procedures and staff understanding. The setting provides an inclusive, warm environment where children are happy, settled, and make good progress. Key strengths include secure emotional bonds, good behaviour, independence-building, and outdoor play provision. Two specific areas for development were identified: staff need clearer learning intent for adult-initiated activities, and questioning techniques should be enhanced to deepen critical thinking. The nursery demonstrates good progress monitoring, inclusive practice, and responsive curriculum design informed by children's interests and parent feedback.
