Safeguarding arrangements are effective with rigorous staff checks and clear procedures in place. The setting demonstrates strong leadership, effective staff support, and good parent partnerships. Key strengths include a rich, balanced curriculum, independent access to varied resources, and positive staff-child relationships. Two specific areas require attention: inconsistent communication of behavioural expectations to children (particularly at snack time) and missed opportunities to extend children's thinking during adult-led activities, which limits consolidation of learning.
