Little Owls Nursery was inspected on 16 March 2023 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), achieving Outstanding across all areas. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery demonstrates exceptional practice with a rich, well-sequenced curriculum, outstanding staff-child relationships, exemplary behaviour management, and inspirational leadership. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with staff demonstrating excellent understanding of safeguarding issues. The setting maintains sustained excellence with all areas scoring in the Exceptional range (95-100). Given the Outstanding status maintained from the previous inspection in 2017, the nursery is performing at the highest level and investment recommendations focus on maintaining and enhancing this exceptional standard through strategic enhancements rather than remedial improvements.
