Sunny Socks Nursery Schools Ltd was inspected on 17 July 2025 and maintains a Good overall effectiveness rating, consistent with the previous inspection in August 2019. The report was conducted under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. These findings have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good); Behaviour and Attitudes remains Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good); Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good); Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good). Safeguarding arrangements are effective and meet requirements. The nursery demonstrates strong relational practice, outdoor learning, community engagement, and staff development. Two specific improvement areas were identified: inconsistent messaging about healthy lifestyles during mealtimes, and insufficient purposeful engagement during snack and mealtimes to develop children's independence and self-care skills.
