Kids Planet Duston received a Good rating across all areas in their first inspection on 11 June 2025. The report was conducted under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure. Safeguarding is Met with effective arrangements and a positive culture. The nursery demonstrates strong practice in curriculum delivery, behaviour management, inclusion, and staff support. Children are happy, settled, and developing well across all areas. The single area for improvement identified by the inspector relates to curriculum planning consistency: activities should more consistently focus on what children need to learn next, with clearer expectations for children during activities. This represents a targeted opportunity to move from Good to Strong Standard across Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement areas.
