Kids Planet Witney

Kids Planet Witney is a newly registered (2024) full day care nursery in Witney, Oxfordshire, rated Good across all four legacy inspection areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management). This report uses the pre-November 2025 framework; findings have been mapped to the new 7-area structure. The nursery demonstrates strong safeguarding arrangements, warm relationships, inclusive practice, and effective leadership. Key strengths include a rich language environment, natural resources, strong parent partnerships, and well-embedded key-person approach. The primary area for development is the inconsistent implementation of purposeful teaching interactions and underdeveloped mathematical provision. Recent staff changes have been managed well, with staff feeling supported through professional development and coaching. The setting is on a positive trajectory with a clear action plan in place.
