Little Village Nursery School received an overall 'Good' rating on 12 December 2024 (first inspection, not applicable for previous inspection). The setting demonstrates strong foundations with effective safeguarding, good curriculum delivery, and positive relationships with parents and children. The inspection used the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded 'Good'. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good, 75); Behaviour and Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good, 75); Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good, 75 each); Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good, 75). Two specific areas for improvement were identified: (1) practitioners need greater awareness of environmental distractions during group times to help children concentrate, and (2) youngest children require clearer and more consistent instructions to understand routines and expectations. These represent the primary drivers for investment recommendations.
