Fennies Woodside received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. This report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates strong foundational practice with effective safeguarding, positive behaviour management, ambitious curriculum delivery, and supportive leadership. Staff know children well through rigorous observation and assessment, and children make good progress with additional support for those with gaps. The single area for improvement identified by the inspector concerns the management of daily routines, where children sometimes wait unnecessarily and become restless. This maps primarily to the Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines evaluation area. The setting is well-positioned for progression toward Strong Standard across most areas with targeted investment in routine management and minor enhancements to existing strengths.
