Newpark Montessori Nursery School received a Good rating across all areas in its first inspection (August 2025). The setting demonstrates strong foundations with warm, supportive staff, an ambitious Montessori curriculum, and effective safeguarding arrangements. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure. Key strengths include language development support for EAL learners, physical skill development, independence building, and creative provision. Two specific improvement areas are identified: (1) inconsistent identification of staff training needs to enhance confidence and children's learning, and (2) inconsistent communication with parents regarding key person assignments. The newly appointed managers are enthusiastic and set high expectations, creating a positive working environment that staff appreciate.
