Little Forest - Folk Fulham

Little Forest Folk Fulham is a forest school setting rated Good across all areas of the November 2025 framework. This is a first inspection (registered in 2023) and the setting demonstrates strong practice in outdoor-based early years education with effective safeguarding arrangements. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), which has been mapped to the new 7-area structure: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement; Behaviour and Attitudes remains core; Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Welfare/Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance. The setting's key strengths include excellent key-person relationships, strong outdoor learning experiences, good behaviour management, and effective staff collaboration. Two specific areas for improvement have been identified: (1) children's independence during mealtimes in the forest environment, and (2) consistency in staff focus on learning engagement during activities. The setting is well-positioned for progression to Strong Standard with targeted investment in these identified areas.
