RAFA Kidz High Wycombe

RAFA Kidz High Wycombe is a newly established setting (registered 2023) that has achieved a Good overall effectiveness rating across all four legacy framework areas. The inspection used the pre-November 2025 framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. These have been mapped to the seven November 2025 evaluation areas as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good, 75) and Achievement (Good, 75); Behaviour & Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good, 75); Personal Development maps to Inclusion (Good, 75) and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good, 75); Leadership & Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good, 75). Safeguarding is Met (100). The setting demonstrates strong foundations in child-centred care, responsive staff, broad curriculum design, and effective behaviour management. However, two specific areas require targeted improvement: (1) communication and language interactions lack sufficient wait time for children to process and respond, limiting back-and-forth communication development; (2) staff development systems need more personalised coaching and feedback to ensure consistently high-quality teaching across the provision. The setting is well-positioned for progression to Strong Standard with focused investment in these two areas.
