Blossom Tree Montessori

Blossom Tree Montessori is a Good-rated nursery (first inspection, June 2025) operating under the legacy 4-area framework. Findings have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure: Safeguarding is Met (effective arrangements with positive culture); Inclusion is Strong Standard (excellent equality and diversity weaving through curriculum, celebrating cultures and differences); Curriculum and Teaching is Strong Standard (good-quality conversations, effective communication methods, personalised learning); Achievement is Strong Standard (children settling quickly, showing enthusiasm, well-prepared for school transition); Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines is Expected Standard (clear rules and expectations, kindness shown, but routine organisation during lunchtime needs improvement); Children's Welfare and Well-being is Expected Standard (good hygiene practices, healthy lifestyles promoted, but younger children lack sufficient physical development opportunities); Leadership and Governance is Strong Standard (clear aims, effective supervision, staff feel valued, leaders recognise areas for development). The nursery demonstrates warm relationships, engaging experiences, and strong parent partnerships. Two key improvement areas identified by inspectors: (1) expanding physical activities for younger children to support motor skill development, and (2) reorganising daily routines (particularly lunchtime) to minimise waiting and support individual needs. These represent the primary investment focus.
