The Treehouse Club

The Treehouse Club is a good early years setting registered in 2023, operating from Scout premises with 41 children on roll and six staff members. The inspection used the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good); Behaviour & Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good); Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good); Leadership & Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good). Safeguarding arrangements are effective and met. The setting demonstrates strong inclusive practice, positive staff-child relationships, and effective partnerships with parents. The inspector identified one key area for improvement: staff should strengthen their practice by consistently adapting interactions to extend children's learning further, particularly in how they scaffold and extend learning opportunities during activities.
