Kids Planet Lowdham

Kids Planet Lowdham received a Good rating across all areas in its first routine inspection (July 2024). The nursery was operating under the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), all graded Good. These have been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework as follows: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching (Good/70), Behaviour & Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good/70), Personal Development maps to Inclusion (Good/70) and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good/70), and Leadership & Management maps to Leadership and Governance (Good/70). Safeguarding is Met (100). The nursery demonstrates strong foundations with effective key worker relationships, good SEND support, and positive staff training culture. Two specific improvement areas were identified by the inspector: handover processes need refinement to better support children's learning (not just care needs), and staff working with babies and younger children require enhanced communication and language development strategies.
