Cub Wetherby is an Outstanding early years setting that achieved top grades across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all mapping to Exceptional grades in the November 2025 framework. This is a first inspection for the setting, registered in 2023. The nursery demonstrates exceptional practice across all seven evaluation areas, with particular strengths in curriculum design, staff training and development, communication and language teaching, and self-evaluation. The setting serves 156 children across 101 places with 34 staff members, 29 of whom hold level 3+ qualifications including two early years teachers and one qualified teacher. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with an open, positive culture prioritizing children's interests. The analysis maps the legacy four-area framework to the new seven-area structure: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement; Behaviour and Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines; Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance. All areas receive Exceptional grades (95-100 scores).
