St George's Nursery received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which map to the November 2025 framework as follows: Quality of Education → Curriculum and Teaching (Good); Behaviour & Attitudes → Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines (Good); Personal Development → Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being (Good); Leadership & Management → Leadership and Governance (Good). Safeguarding arrangements are effective and met. The nursery demonstrates strong foundations with well-sequenced curriculum, positive staff-child relationships, and effective parent engagement. Two specific areas require targeted improvement: mathematical curriculum delivery for older children lacks consistency in building on their knowledge and skills, and staff interactions with younger children do not consistently support early communication development. These represent the primary focus for investment to move from Good to Strong Standard across relevant evaluation areas.
