Kids Planet Padiham

Kids Planet Padiham received a Good rating across all areas in its first inspection (December 2024). The nursery demonstrates effective safeguarding, strong staff support and teamwork, and good progress for all children including those with SEND and EAL needs. The report uses the legacy 4-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), which has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area structure: Safeguarding (Met), Inclusion (Good/75), Curriculum and Teaching (Good/72 - with specific note on interaction quality), Achievement (Good/75), Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines (Good/75), Welfare/Well-being (Good/76), and Leadership/Governance (Good/75). The single area for improvement focuses on enhancing the quality and impact of staff-child spoken interactions, particularly moving away from descriptive questions toward more open-ended dialogue that encourages children's thinking and meaningful responses.
