Little Jewels Preschool was inspected on 5 January 2023 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates strong foundations across curriculum delivery, behaviour management, and leadership, with particular strengths in physical development, literacy promotion, and staff well-being. The primary area for improvement identified by the inspector concerns inconsistent provision for children who speak English as an additional language (EAL), where not all children have sufficient opportunities to use their home language in play and communication. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with robust training and procedures in place. The setting is well-led by an experienced manager with clear staff roles and positive parent partnerships.
