The Learning Tree Nursery School

The Learning Tree Nursery School was inspected on 22 June 2023 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management), with all areas graded as Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery demonstrates strong safeguarding practices, good physical development provision, and effective parent partnerships. The setting has been identified for improvement in two key areas: allowing children more time to explore and develop communication, curiosity and problem-solving skills during group sessions, and strengthening self-help hygiene routines to ensure consistent care responses. The nursery is well-led with effective SENCO support and good staff training practices. Overall effectiveness is Good (mapped to 75 across the framework), with clear opportunities to move toward Strong Standard through targeted interventions in communication/problem-solving and hygiene practices.
