Kids Planet Boston Spa received an overall 'Good' rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in July 2024. This is their first routine inspection since registration in 2022. The setting demonstrates strong foundations with effective safeguarding, good staff support for emotional well-being, interest-led curriculum, and excellent leadership focus on staff well-being. Mapped to the November 2025 framework, the setting achieves Expected Standard (60-79) across most areas, with particular strengths in Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines and Leadership/Governance. Two specific improvement areas have been identified: (1) activities not consistently matched to younger children's developmental stages, and (2) older children's independence not consistently supported. These represent the primary focus for investment to move toward Strong Standard (80-94) grades.
