Twizzle Tops Day Nursery

Twizzle Tops Day Nursery received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in August 2024. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery demonstrates strong safeguarding practices, good curriculum design with individual child needs considered, and effective staff-parent partnerships. Two specific areas for improvement were identified: promoting letter sounds alongside letter names for early literacy development, and developing the outdoor play area to provide adequate shade and increase access for children who learn best outside. The setting is well-established (registered 2022) with 24 staff members, including one Level 6 and 12 Level 3 qualified practitioners. All children, including those with SEND, make good progress.
