Kids Planet Penketh

Kids Planet Penketh received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in May 2024. This report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates strong foundations: effective safeguarding, good curriculum planning with evidence of assessment-led practice, strong parent partnerships, and secure key-person relationships. However, two specific areas require targeted improvement: (1) consistency in daily routine planning, particularly around timing of activities to maintain engagement (e.g., drinks distribution during singing), and (2) consistency in behaviour management expectations and responses across the pre-school room, resulting in some children not consistently demonstrating positive attitudes to learning. The manager's supervisory approach and coaching culture provide a solid platform for addressing these gaps. Strengths in outdoor learning, community partnerships, and physical development support should be maintained and built upon.
