Kids Planet Solihull received a Good rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in May 2024. This report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The nursery demonstrates strong foundations with effective safeguarding, good curriculum delivery, and positive staff-child relationships. Two specific areas require targeted improvement: (1) activity planning for older children in the baby room lacks precision to learning needs, causing occasional disengagement; (2) staff inconsistency in helping children understand behaviour expectations and consequences. The setting shows particular strength in language and communication teaching, SEND support coordination, and parent engagement. With focused interventions on these two identified gaps, the nursery is well-positioned to move toward Strong Standard grades in Curriculum and Teaching, and Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines.
