Cherubs Mapperley

Cherubs Mapperley was inspected on 20 December 2022 under the legacy EYFS framework (4 areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded 'Good'. The setting has demonstrated significant improvement since the previous 'Requires Improvement' rating in February 2022. The management team has driven curriculum clarity and staff professional development, particularly in communication and language. This analysis maps the legacy framework findings to the November 2025 7-area structure: Safeguarding (Met), Inclusion (Good/75), Curriculum and Teaching (Good/75), Achievement (Good/75), Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines (Good/75), Welfare/Well-being (Good/75), and Leadership/Governance (Good/75). Three specific improvement areas were identified by the inspector: curriculum implementation for older babies, transition organisation to reduce waiting times, and communication systems for sharing children's next steps with parents.
