Kids Allowed Christie Fields was inspected on 18 January 2022 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) and achieved an overall rating of Good, representing significant improvement from the previous Inadequate rating in June 2021. The report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework for analysis purposes. Strengths include outstanding behaviour and attitudes, excellent emotional well-being support, strong staff morale, and effective safeguarding arrangements. The setting has successfully addressed previous weaknesses through collaboration with local authority advisers. Two key areas for development were identified: curriculum depth (ensuring activities focus precisely on individual children's next steps rather than multiple learning intentions) and younger children's independence skills (particularly in self-care activities like dressing for outdoor play). The nursery demonstrates strong leadership commitment to continuous improvement and has built a positive culture where staff feel valued and children are highly motivated.
