Safeguarding is Met with effective arrangements in place. Key strengths include strong emotional and social development support, excellent physical development curriculum, effective SEND arrangements, and good communication/language development. The setting has demonstrated responsiveness to recent incidents by implementing enhanced safety measures including food temperature probes and allergen information sheets. However, three priority areas for improvement have been identified: inconsistent staff knowledge of how children learn and curriculum areas, inconsistent behaviour management strategies that lack explanatory depth, and poorly organised daily routines particularly around mealtimes where younger children and older children do not receive adequate attention or interaction. These gaps represent the primary drivers for investment recommendations focused on staff training and operational improvements.
