Kids Planet Wythenshawe

Kids Planet Wythenshawe was inspected on 10 June 2024 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), with all areas graded Good and overall effectiveness rated Good. This represents significant improvement from the previous inspection in December 2023, which was rated Requires Improvement. The report has been mapped to the November 2025 seven-area framework: Safeguarding is Met (effective arrangements); Inclusion, Curriculum and Teaching, Achievement, Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines, and Welfare/Well-being are all graded Expected Standard (70-75 range); Leadership and Governance is graded Expected Standard (72). The nursery demonstrates strong communication and language development, consistent routines, good physical and mathematical development, and effective SEND support. Two key areas for improvement are identified: strengthening adult-led activity planning to build on individual children's next steps, and enhancing parent-key person communication methods to improve consistency.
