Growing Beans Tooting Nursery and Preschool was inspected on 4 October 2022 under the legacy EYFS framework (4 areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded as Good. The setting has demonstrated significant improvement from the previous 'Requires Improvement' rating. This analysis maps the legacy framework to the November 2025 7-area structure: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement; Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development map to Behaviour/Attitudes/Routines and Welfare/Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership/Governance. Safeguarding was confirmed as effective. The nursery shows strong parent partnerships, good staff practice, and a well-structured outdoor curriculum. Two specific areas for improvement were identified: staff information systems regarding children's care practices, and emotional regulation during meal routines. The setting has demonstrated trajectory of improvement and is well-positioned for targeted development.
