Twizzle Tops Day Nursery

Twizzle Tops Day Nursery has made significant progress since the previous Inadequate rating in July 2024, achieving a Good overall effectiveness grade across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management). This report uses the pre-November 2025 4-area framework, which has been mapped to the new 7-area structure: Quality of Education maps to Curriculum and Teaching and Achievement; Behaviour and Attitudes maps to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines; Personal Development maps to Inclusion and Children's Welfare and Well-being; Leadership and Management maps to Leadership and Governance. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with an open, child-centred culture. The nursery demonstrates strong staff engagement, relationship-building, and curriculum development, with particular strengths in indoor learning environments and communication/language support. Two specific areas require targeted improvement: outdoor curriculum planning and indoor physical activity provision, both of which impact children's engagement and physical development.
