This report uses the legacy 2006 framework (4-area structure: Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership & Management) and has been mapped to the November 2025 7-area framework. Hallfield Pre-Prep & Nursery achieved an overall 'Good' rating with strong provision across care and nursery education. The setting demonstrates good safeguarding practices, effective health and well-being support, and strong teaching for older children (3-4 year-olds). Key areas for improvement centre on: (1) incorporating 'Birth to Three Matters' framework for younger children in the Nursery; (2) enhancing independence opportunities for children under three; (3) strengthening parent engagement for younger cohorts; and (4) completing policy reviews to ensure full compliance with National Standards. The setting shows strong commitment to continuous improvement with dedicated leadership and regular staff training.
