The Treehouse Club Forestry Nursery And Out Of School Club

The Treehouse Club Forestry Nursery received a 'Good' rating across all four legacy framework areas (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management) in July 2022. This report uses the pre-November 2025 framework and has been mapped to the new seven-area structure. Safeguarding is effective with robust procedures and staff understanding. The setting demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge, good staff morale, effective parent partnerships, and positive child outcomes. The primary area for improvement identified by the inspector concerns children's independence: staff do not consistently provide opportunities or tools for children to do things for themselves (e.g., appropriately-sized jugs for pouring drinks). This finding maps primarily to the Curriculum and Teaching area and secondarily to Behaviour, Attitudes and Establishing Routines. Overall, the setting is well-managed with good teaching quality and positive outcomes, but would benefit from targeted investment to enhance child-led independence and self-care skills.
