Kids Planet Wallasey

Kids Planet Wallasey is an outstanding early years setting that was inspected on 23 August 2022 under the legacy four-area framework (Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Outstanding. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 seven-area framework. The setting demonstrates exceptional practice across all areas: children are highly inquisitive with positive attitudes to learning, staff provide an ambitious curriculum with strong communication and language focus, SEND support is excellent, and leadership prioritises staff well-being and continuous professional development. Safeguarding arrangements are effective with robust procedures and excellent staff understanding. The nursery has established outstanding parent partnerships and transition procedures. All children, including those with SEND, make excellent progress. The setting is now in a maintenance and enhancement phase, with recommendations focused on sustaining excellence and achieving Exceptional grades across the new framework areas.
