Little Beans Childcare

Little Beans Childcare was inspected on 3 November 2021 under the legacy EYFS framework (4 areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management), all graded Good. This analysis maps those findings to the November 2025 framework (7 areas). The setting demonstrates strong safeguarding, warm relationships, and good progress in learning through exploratory play. Two key improvement areas were identified: (1) staff awareness of scaffolding techniques when children attempt new skills, and (2) strengthening parent-key person communication to support home-setting continuity. The setting operates with 6 staff (4 qualified, including 1 QTS), serving 23 children aged 0-2 years. Current overall score is 75 (Good/Expected Standard), with realistic potential to reach 82-84 (Strong Standard) within 12 months through targeted staff development and parent engagement improvements.
